The reverse of the coin includes the design in incredibly detailed engravings and contrasting finishing techniques. The arrowhead shape mimics the one of the iconic Delta Shield Insignia, which was worn by the crew of U.S.S. Enterprise and became the most well-known emblem of the Starfleet. Together with the emblem there the number “50” and the date of issue.

The obverse of the coin depicts the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II together with the date and place of issue and the proof.

Each coin is housed in a contemporary acrylic display case within a themed, customized shipper and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
