The bicycle – the most popular invention in the world – has been captured in pure silver to commemorate its 200th anniversary. Celebrate this event with the Cook Island`s Mintage!
The reverse of the coin includes an images of two men. On the left, in the yellow filed, there is a man riding an old -fashioned bike as of the 18th century. The image of the right, in the green field, resembles the bike as we know it today – state-of-art means of transportat. Above the images, there is the inscription “The Bicycle Mother of Pearl”, below it – the legal tender value of 25 dollars. In the center, one can notice the following wording: “200th anniversary”.
The obverse of the coin includes the image of Her Majesty Elizabeth II together with the date and place of issue – the Cook Islands.
Each of the piece is delivered in an elegant timber frame box cushioned with black fabric. Its lid is engraved and stylized to resemble a bicycle wheel. In the center, there is the number “200”. A numbered certificate of authenticity is included in every case.
The piece is available for collectors through a strictly limited mintage of only 750 coins.
