The 2009 piece includes a transparent, half-circled locket with small diamonds. The 1-carat stones are naturally rough. Being the most desirable of all gemstones, they are traditional symbols of love and persons born in April.
The reverse of the coin includes the image of an Australian mountain. This beautiful landscape is an abstract interpretation of a factual mountainous land. Below the design, there is the transparent half-circle locket with diamonds of various colors. At the bottom of the coin, there is the inscription “Treasures of Australia”.
The obverse of the coin shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II situated above the locket. The legal tender value of 100 dollars and proof are visible below the capsule.
Each piece is housed in a special presentation box with jarrah timber lid featuring a circular viewing window. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included. The box comes in an illustrated box shipper.
The mintage is limited to 715 pieces worldwide.
