The Perth Mint has issued another Star Trek commemorative coins. This time to celebrate Capitan James T. Kirk and Spock and the U.S.S. Enterprise.
The reverse of the first coin includes the images of the abovementioned characters of the well-known TV series, Star Trek. They are depicted in full color. In the background, there are the planets and pieces of aircraft in full color. The second coin shows the U.S.S. Enterprise in motion.
The obverses of both of the coins shows the images of Queen Elizabeth II together with the place and date of issue. There is also the legal tender value.
Each set of coins comes in a case designed to look like a Star Trek transporter. It is delivered in a special box with the images of both characters. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Limited mintage of only 1500 sets worldwide.
