The reverse of the coin depicts the goanna looking straight ahead. It`s ling tongue is coming out of its mouth. Thanks to the modern techniques of coloring, a beautiful design and detailed engraving. Almost every scale on the animal`s skin is visible!

The obverse of the piece depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II, the face value of 1 dollar and the composition data.
