The reverse of the coin shows a farmer plowing his land and a pair of oxen in the foreground. In the background one could observe a rural landscape with a mountain and fields. The sky is snatched with meteorites falling down. On the left side of the coin, there is a piece of meteorite inserted. Above the image there is the inscription “Nantan Meteorite Fall – May 1516” , below it – the date of issue -2006.

The obverse of the coins shows the emblem of the Republic of Palau, depicting Poseidon and a siren with the inscription “Republic of Palau” above them and the face value of the coin, which is 5 dollars.

Each coin is delivered in a separate decorative box and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The coin has been issued in limited mintage of only 2500 pieces worldwide.
