Get to know one of the few unique coins belonging to the Mongolian Wildlife Protection collection, which is available in our online numismatic shop. A copy from 2007 impresses with its performance and encourages to extend the collection. This time we meet a wolverine.
Wolverine’s gaze
The coin’s face value is exactly 500 Tugrik, and the production date goes back to 2007. Right then the producers decided to limit the mintage to 2,500 copies. The coin weighs 31.1 grams, because exactly 1 ounce of silver 999/1000 fineness was applied.
The aesthetics and design of the coin make it difficult to take your eyes off it. Gulo Gulo the wolverine’s eyes are made of Swarovski crystals, and the bristles are very precisely and realistically carved in silver. The antique finish beautifully complements such details like serrated rim. Due to a 38.61 mm diameter, you’ll notice all the unique nuances. It is worth to order a copy also due to the exclusive box and certificate of authenticity.
Wolverines are found primarily in secluded areas of taiga and tundra – also in Asia.
