The reverse of the coin includes the image of the golden goat. The creature`s portrait is placed in the center of the coin and encircled by a jade decoration with the label: “The Year of the Goat”, and an encryption in Chinese together with the date of mintage. The outer part of the reverse is made of silver and includes the images of goats sitting and standing in rocky mountains.
The obverse of the coin depicts the emblem of Laos with the label: “The Lao People`s Democratic Republic” and the face value of 2000 KIP.
Every coin is delivered in a red beauty box decorated with golden Lao graphics. Each package includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
