This image is situated in the center of the coin and is encircled by a jade decoration including the label: “The Year of the Rabbit” and an encryption in Chinese together with the date of mintage. The outer part of the reverse is silver and includes some decorative engraving.
The obverse of the coin includes its face value of 2000 KIP.
