Gold coin from the series of British Kings with the image of Henry VII
Although today the best-known monarch of Great Britain is the longest-reigning (1952-2022) Elizabeth II, enthusiasts passionate about the history of England know very well who Henry VII was, in whose honor the offered gold collector coin was minted. He was certainly an unremarkable figure. Considered the first king of England from the Tudor dynasty, he reigned from 1485 to 1509, and is rated by many as one of the best rulers. He took the throne after his triumph at Bosworth Field, stabilizing the national situation after the civil wars. It is his portrait that is depicted on the presented collector coin, the reverse of which is decorated with a likeness of Elizabeth II by Jodi Clark.
