Gold Unicorn in excellent condition
Only 400 pieces of a precious coin were struck in 2017, with a unique story behind it. The Queen’s Beasts collection depicts the heraldic symbols of Queen Elizabeth II, and this particular design honours Scotland’s symbol, the unicorn. The unicorn symbolises strength, courage, freedom, independence – all qualities that proud and brave Scots want to be associated with. The Unicorn has featured in Scottish heraldry since around the 12th century.
