Another piece in the series of the Mother of Pearl Transport collection of coins made of pure silver is to commemorate the one and only Trans-Siberian Railway and its 100th anniversary. State-of art minting techniques allow to show the train in motion and keep all the details of the design.
The reverse of the coin includes the image of the Trans-Siberian Railway going towards its destination with full speed – steam is going from its chimney. The train is captured while turning so that its full length can be observed. Above the image, there is the inscription “Trans-Siberian Railway”. Below it, there is the legal tender value of 25 dollars. The rim is decorated.
The obverse of the coin includes the image of Her Majesty Elizabeth II together with the date and place of issue – the Cook Islands.
Each of the piece is delivered in an elegant frame box cushioned with black fabric. Its lid is engraved and stylized to show the beauty of Siberian landscape in full color. A numbered certificate of authenticity is included in every case.
