The reverse of the coin includes the design by Canadian artist Maurice Gervais. It offers a glimpse the hidden underwater world off Canada’s Atlantic coasts. Thanks to enamel in vivid colors, one can observe grass, rocks and seashells with all details. In the right corner, there is the image of a seahorse. It is a handcrafted glass embellishment by Canadian glass artist Loïc Beaumont-Tremblay.

The obverse shows the image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II together with the inscription “D.G. Regina.”
