Design:
The $25 coin is 99.99% pure silver, with a diameter of 36 millimeters. Its nominal metal weight is 30.75 grams. The coin features an original depiction by Dominion Sculptor Phil White engraved in ultra-high relief.
The design is inspired by a carving found on the East Block of the Parliament Buildings. The image shows the mythical Wild Green Man. The face of the figure is dominated by its foliate hair, eyebrows, moustache and beard. It has staring eyes and bared teeth. The image seems to emerge from the coin thanks to detailed engraving in ultra-high relief.
