In the next edition of the Christmas coin collection the snowman theme was used. A friendly guy with a carrot nose is staring at us from the reverse of a creatively designed, valuable, silver coin. If you want to own it, we have prepared for you such an opportunity.
A real symbol of winter, Murano Glass Snowman
In recent years, we haven’t had too many opportunities to make snowmen in Poland, although (I think) we still remember what snow is. The Canadians, whose royal mint is known for reaching for various motives related to nature and culture, do not have such a problem.
Continuing the work on the numismatic collection that takes advantage of the master’s knowledge of the Italian glazier Murano, its creators decided to implement a project using a classic set of winter associations – a snowman, Christmas tree, skates or snow-covered trees.
The coin itself is minted from 1 oz of pure silver 99.99%. It is 38 mm in diameter and only 10,000 copies were minted. However, this was in 2014, so the coin has become difficult to access since then. However, this is not an obstacle for our Polish numismatic store.
