This beautiful gold coin is another piece in the Treasures of Australia series celebrating five glittering prizes. The stone inserted this time is Keshi Pearl. Due to its marine environment, Australia is one of the richest sources of South Sea pearls in the world.
The reverse of the coin includes the image of an Australian marine environment. This beautiful landscape is an abstract interpretation of a factual landscape. Below the design, there is the mother of pearl transparent half-circle locket with a natural keshi pearl incorporated in mother of pearl. At the bottom of the coin, there is the inscription “Treasures of Australia”.
The obverse of the coin shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley situated above the locket. The legal tender value of 100 dollars and proof are visible below the capsule.
Each piece is housed in a special presentation box with jarrah timber lid featuring a circular viewing window. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included. The box comes in a beautifully illustrated box shipper.
