The coin’s reverse incorporates a centre piece of pure Australian opal featuring a detailed design of a Tasmanian Devil detailed in pure Australian opal. The outer panel of the coin depicts native soft tree ferns, a full moon and the Southern Cross – a renowned star group which is only visible in the Southern Hemisphere.
Each coin is presented in a prestigious display case with a light, which lights upon opening, to represent the moon shining down on the nocturnal creature. The case is packed in a stunning illustrated shipper.
